What you will do

• Deploy and optimize AgentCore Runtime on Amazon EKS for secure, high-performance agent environments.
• Build AgentCore Gateway in Go for zero-trust security between agents and microservices.
• Architect persistent state and memory layers, including vector stores for agent context.
• Integrate AgentCore with Horizon platform, enabling native access to cluster resources and services.
• Develop standardized tooling using Model Context Protocol (MCP) for data sources and enterprise tools.
• Design automated evaluation frameworks and observability infrastructure for agent performance and reliability.
• Implement IaC with Terraform or AWS CDK for repeatable AgentCore deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in computer science or related; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years software engineering, 5+ years in cloud distributed systems with Golang and async Python.
• Hands-on with AWS AgentCore or similar, Agent SDKs (Strand, OpenAI, LangChain), protocols (MCP, A2A).
• Expertise in agentic AI: action loops, RAG, Knowledge Graphs.
• 2+ years Kubernetes, operators, containers; Helm charts, API gateways.
• Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD (GitLab), Terraform, engineering best practices.
• Strong communication; ability to work with distributed teams.
