Senior Android Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin/MVVM): Develop and maintain Android applications for a global food tech platform connecting millions of users across 25 countries with an accent on high-quality software, microservices integration, and scalable architecture. Focus on product feature definition, technical ownership, continuous delivery, and A/B testing in agile cross-functional teams.

Location: UA-Remote (full-time in Ukraine). Work remotely or from office, your choice.

What you will do

• Contribute to product feature definition in workshops with engineering teams and Product Managers.
• Produce high-quality software adhering to team best practices and take technical ownership.
• Track progress towards team goals and communicate transparently with team and Technology Manager.
• Deploy and support changes through to production, ensuring ongoing reliability.
• Share development practices, patterns, and standards; propose process and engineering improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Android app development experience
• Knowledgeable in Kotlin, integration and unit testing
• Experience with server-side APIs in microservices architecture
• Android architecture (multi-modules, DI, MVVM), continuous integration
• Understanding of reusable components, efficient and readable code design
• Knowledge of experimentation and A/B testing, Agile methodology, Continuous Delivery
• Good written and spoken English skills
