TL;DR
Network & Security Engineer (Juniper/Aruba): Providing onsite project delivery and BAU support for a global automotive testing facility with an accent on Juniper routing, switching, and Fortinet firewalls. Focus on troubleshooting network incidents, managing wireless infrastructure, and mentoring junior engineers.
Location: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days per week onsite in Nuneaton, UK)
Salary: £50,000 – £56,000

What you will do
- Deliver project and BAU support activities onsite for a key enterprise customer.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents while managing priorities within agreed SLAs.
- Configure, install, commission, and support network infrastructure equipment.
- Support wireless deployments, troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage and mentor a junior engineer within the team.
- Participate in occasional out-of-hours and weekend support for critical P1 incidents.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within Network Engineering or Network Security roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Juniper networking technologies.
- Experience configuring and supporting Aruba wireless environments.
- Comfortable with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and fault finding.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Nuneaton, UK for onsite work.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as JNCIA, ACNT, or a related degree.
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience.
