What you will do
- Design and continuously improve scalable operational workflows and playbooks to handle time-sensitive risk scenarios.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to implement risk mitigation strategies aligned with new product features.
- Triage and make decisions on high-risk cases, balancing platform safety and user experience under time constraints.
- Optimize monitoring coverage and resource allocation based on risk levels and workload fluctuations.
- Improve detection accuracy and efficiency through data-driven iterations and automation.
- Contribute to policy refinement and enforcement strategies to address newly emerging user behaviors.
Requirements
- Experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or Anti-abuse domains.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions in high-volume, time-sensitive, or ambiguous situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Japanese: Proficient (CEFR C1) required.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Roppongi office in Tokyo.
Nice to have
- Experience in highly interactive or real-time environments (e.g., live features, chat, gaming).
- Experience in content moderation, monitoring, or real-time review operations.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL or BigQuery.
- Experience contributing to policy development or rule design.
- English: Basic (CEFR A2) preferred.
