What you will do
- Lead Application, Platform, and Offensive Security functions, embedding security engineers into development teams using a shift-left model.
- Enforce least-privilege IAM, network security, and infrastructure hardening across the AWS environment.
- Execute repeatable penetration testing and red-team exercises utilizing AI tooling for adversarial simulation.
- Mentor a diverse team of security professionals and set SMART objectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the ISMS Committee and ISO27001 program, ensuring GDPR, DPDPA, and PDPA compliance.
Requirements
- 12+ years of technical experience across application, infrastructure, and offensive security.
- Proven track record of leading and growing security engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in AWS, secure architecture, threat modelling, and SDLC integration.
- Strong knowledge of cryptography and familiarity with AI security risks (OWASP LLM Top 10).
- Experience with ISO27001, NIST CSF, and OWASP frameworks.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Berlin, Germany.
Nice to have
- Applied cryptography experience.
- Experience with Rust, TypeScript/Node.js, or Flutter/Dart.
