What you will do

• Design and implement full-stack features across Python backends and React frontends.
• Build and support complex, event-driven microservice-based systems using AWS.
• Write production-grade, secure, and observable code adhering to high maintainability standards.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and infrastructure-as-code via Terraform or Pulumi.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into scalable software designs.
• Ensure system reliability through proactive issue resolution and participation in 24/7 on-call rotations.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing Python-based backend applications.
• Primary residence in Colombia.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and relational/non-relational data modeling (SQL).
• Extensive knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, RDS, SNS, SQS).

Nice to have

• Experience working within or with government sectors.
• Previous client-facing or consulting experience.
