What you will do

• Lead, advise, and supervise the legal team's daily activities and overall performance.
• Draft and negotiate complex contracts, including artistic, production, licensing, distribution, and synchronization licenses.
• Provide legal counsel to support strategic business decision-making and mitigate legal risks.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, government requests, and corporate governance including meeting minutes and powers of attorney.
• Localize group policies (privacy, cookies, terms of use) to align with local legislation.
• Manage budgets for external law firms and oversee the financial process for royalty payments and notary fees.

Requirements

• Must be based in or have legal authorization to work in Mexico or Colombia.
• 5+ years of proven experience in Business Affairs or Legal roles, preferably in the music, media, or entertainment industries.
• Deep proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex industry-specific contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and enhance team performance.
• Advanced proficiency in both Spanish and English.
