What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax filings (VAT, GST, Digital Service Tax) for SEA entities including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.
• Manage annual income tax filings and ensure timely payments in coordination with AP and Treasury teams.
• Handle Year End Tax Provision processes under US GAAP and reconcile Local GAAP accounts.
• Coordinate tax audits and prepare supporting documentation for audit defense in the SEA region.
• Collaborate with Legal and Accounting teams on contract reviews to optimize cross-border transactions.
• Monitor digital tax updates in SEA and implement automation using AI and technology to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a graduate degree in taxation.
• Qualified CPA.
• Over 8 years of relevant tax experience with a focus on SEA region compliance (both Big 4 and in-house experience).
• Strong understanding of tax concepts and hands-on experience managing compliance in Southeast Asia.
• Must be based in the Singapore office.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; fluency in Mandarin or other local SEA languages is a plus.
