Application Support Engineer

What you will do

• Assist internal customers with essential tools for HW and SW development.
• Plan, develop, and implement tool solutions for ASICs, FPGAs, and system software.
• Perform benchmarking, monitor applications/databases, and automate metrics collection.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with IT and engineering teams on bugs and preventative measures.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipelines on Windows and Linux.
• Participate in tools, data, and build infrastructure migration projects and update documentation.

Requirements

• English: Upper intermediate (B2)
• BS in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years in Linux and Windows administration
• Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL databases
• Apache or Nginx web services and configuration
• SCM systems like Git, VersionVault/ClearCase
• Build automation with Jenkins and make
• Networking: DNS, NIS, SSH, SSSD, SMB, SSL, VNC, RDP

• GitHub, Jira, Artifactory, Ansible
• Kubernetes and container management
• Cloud computing experience
• Scripting: Python, Perl, Groovy, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash, Csh
