What you will do

• Own technical standards, best practices, and architectural guidance across multiple teams
• Provide hands-on programming support for the org's highest-priority projects
• Partner with team leads to elevate design, code quality, and delivery processes
• Drive programming direction using AI tools like Claude Code, cloud infrastructure, and LLM primitives
• Direct AI tools for code building, testing, reviewing; debug issues and unblock teams
• Advance operational maturity in CI/CD, testing, observability, infrastructure-as-code
• Mentor programmers and represent technical direction to executives

Requirements

• 7+ years professional software programming as senior IC or technical lead
• Deep expertise in Python, Golang for production systems; AWS, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Practical experience building AI systems: RAG, prompt programming, LLM integrations, agentic workflows
• DevOps background: CI/CD (Github Actions), Docker, Kubernetes, automated testing, release management
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, service deployments in production
• Ability to context-switch between leadership and hands-on work; thrive in ambiguity
• Strong communication to explain technical decisions to executives and juniors
