What you will do

• Productize AI capabilities like models, agents, and conversational interfaces into reusable components for multiple products.
• Define integration patterns for conversational AI, RAG, vector search, and model orchestration using Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta, Workflows, Model Serving, Genie).
• Accelerate AI deployment by standardizing infrastructure, creating shared services, SDKs, and governance frameworks.
• Architect scalable AI foundations for multi-product use, ensuring reliability, security, and production-readiness.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to translate AI into scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years engineering experience, including distributed systems
• Deep expertise in Databricks platform architecture and hands-on with Genie
• Advanced AI/ML engineering: LLMs, RAG architectures, agent frameworks, conversational AI
• Strong backend engineering in Python (APIs, microservices, distributed systems)
• Experience with production AI systems, model serving, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, ML, Software Engineering or related; advanced degree preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers

Nice to have

• Full-stack experience: React, Next.js, TypeScript for AI-driven UIs
• API-first architectures (REST/GraphQL), cloud-native (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Data engineering: ETL/ELT, large-scale processing
