Software Engineer II

TL;DR

Software Engineer II (Python): Designing and developing the Mosaic One SaaS product with an accent on full-stack module implementation, software design/architecture, and continuous improvement through testing and incremental releases. Focus on building new features, conducting design/code reviews, and solving bugs across unit and system testing while working in an agile environment.

What you will do

• Design and develop the Mosaic One SaaS product.
• Implement new modules and enhancements with high-level and low-level software design.
• Support feasibility studies for needed software development.
• Document architecture and feature definitions; participate in design and code reviews.
• Plan and run unit and system-level testing; fix bugs found during testing.
• Deploy and test incremental software releases and coordinate development activities within schedule and product constraints.

Requirements

• 3+ years of active professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering/software engineering or equivalent education.
• Strong computer science foundation (data structures, algorithms, software engineering).
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with testing and development tools such as pytest, plus Test Driven Development and unit test frameworks.
• English: at least B1 proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python3, Pydantic, Poetry, and Boto3.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as CloudFormation, AWS SAM, and AWS CDK.
