What you will do

  • Provide hands-on technical support to customers throughout the development and validation process.
  • Serve as the primary technical bridge between customer vehicle integration teams and internal engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot and independently resolve technical issues related to hirify.global technology.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer systems and APIs, such as drive-by-wire, to guide internal development.
  • Maintain a system-level perspective to identify root causes, distinguishing between vehicle-based and software-related issues.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience with development vehicles.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic and calibration tools, specifically CANape or similar.
  • Solid understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet) and automotive system architectures.
  • Practical experience in an automotive environment with a track record of bringing products to production.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead complex technical investigations.
  • Must be based in Tokyo and willing to travel as required.
