Senior Level Artist (Unreal Engine)

Senior Level Artist (Unreal Engine): Producing playable levels based on art director's vision and level design needs with an accent on world geometry, composition, and proxy asset creation. Focus on redesigning assets, blocking modules, maintaining pipelines, and implementing feedback from leads and peers.

Location: Warsaw, Poland (Remote/Hybrid). Open only to candidates based in Europe.

What you will do

• Produce playable levels based on art director's vision and level design needs in collaboration with leads.
• Create world geometry and composition for levels in Unreal Engine.
• Redesign existing assets and model proxy assets with first/proxy materials.
• Maintain workflow pipelines and produce work within specifications and deadlines.
• Participate in reviews, implement feedback professionally, and contribute to R&D for pipeline improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years in AAA console/PC game development, including 3+ years in Unreal Engine.
• Strong portfolio showcasing playable levels with created geometry.
• Experience with industry-standard 3D modeling software (Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Photoshop or equivalents).
• Solid understanding of traditional art skills (shape, form, texture, value, color) and ability to interpret concepts creatively.
• Knowledge of PBR shaders, normal maps, and Unreal Engine workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; self-motivated, adaptive, collaborative.

Nice to have

• Traditional art and graphic design skills (typography, color, light).
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 and environment modeling.
• Level design experience.
