hirify.global is supporting a growing engineering business specializing in the production of bespoke machinery.

What you will do

• Perform electrical assembly and wiring of bespoke machinery.
• Install and integrate electrical systems onto HGV based vehicles.
• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, including fault diagnosis and repair.
• Work with control panels, sensors, looms, motors, and lighting circuits.
• Complete maintenance documentation and support the training of new team members.

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualification or strong relevant industry experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or mobile plant environments.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Competence with electrical tools and safe isolation procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive or HGV electrical systems.
• Knowledge of control panels, relays, inverters, and PLC interfaces.
• Experience working with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
