What you will do

• Lead the technical delivery of a dedicated product pod from design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Write production code daily while making architectural decisions that are maintainable and scalable.
• Strategically integrate AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) across the full SDLC.
• Coordinate with DevOps and DBAs to remove blockers and maintain a sustainable pace of weekly deployments.
• Collaborate with Product Leads to translate customer needs into actionable technical plans.
• Mentor engineers on effective AI-assisted workflows and establish team-wide engineering patterns.

Requirements

• 12+ years of commercial software engineering experience shipping production systems at scale.
• Proven track record of leading technical delivery and directing other engineers on complex projects.
• Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Expertise in using AI coding tools as a core part of the daily development workflow.
• Strong proficiency in .NET and React (strongly preferred).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from the Glasgow, Scotland office (1-2x per week).

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, healthcare software, or regulated compliance-sensitive environments.
• Hands-on DevOps experience with Azure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Exposure to trunk-based development and continuous deployment models.
• Background in API design and integration patterns.
