Network Dev Engineer II (LAN): Design and implement next-generation LAN architecture for hirify.global's global fulfillment centers, transportation sites, and grocery operations with an accent on self-healing automation, vendor-agnostic solutions, and scalable commodity hardware. Focus on enterprise LAN switching, routing, network segmentation, and large-scale configuration automation using EVPN, LISP, BGP, OSPF, and VRF.

What you will do

• Design scalable LAN solutions for campus networks, switching, segmentation, and automation at massive scale.
• Implement self-healing automation to detect and remediate incidents autonomously.
• Modernize architectures by eliminating proprietary dependencies and adopting open protocols.
• Operate overlay protocols, industrial networking for robotics, and AI/ML-powered tools for diagnostics.
• Collaborate on project plans, design reviews, root cause analysis, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years experience with BGP and OSPF at CCNP/CCIE level.
• 3+ years with Cisco and Juniper routing/switching hardware.
• Network automation experience with Python.
• Ability to design secure, stable, testable, and maintainable network solutions.
• Experience building tools, best practices, and proactive innovation.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or large-scale networking experience.
• CCIE Routing & Switching.
• EVPN, VXLAN, LISP, VRF, SDI, or commodity hardware experience.
• Large-scale configuration management and orchestration.
• AI/ML tools for automation, industrial networking, IPv6, CI/CD, zero-touch provisioning.
