What you will do

• Maintain and enhance the FortiSwitchOS web-based GUI, focusing on locating, fixing, and verifying bugs.
• Brainstorm, propose, and implement new features for the GUI and compose functional specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to diagnose bugs that may originate in the predominantly C codebase.
• Develop i18n- and a11y-compliant HTML, JS, and CSS utilizing TypeScript and SCSS.
• Optimize GUI performance, including middleware/backend portions and frontend aspects.
• Proactively refactor the GUI codebase to improve maintainability and simplify the overall structure.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in front-end web development.
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6), and familiarity with TypeScript and SCSS.
• Proficiency in AJAX, Promise methodologies, and component-based frameworks such as Vue or React.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related area.
