Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam), 3/4 days remote work per week

Salary: €85,000 – €102,500 (including bonus)

What you will do

• Build scalable backend services and platform components around foundation models and LLMs.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines, enterprise integrations, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Transform isolated AI experiments into reliable, maintainable, and scalable production platforms.
• Design and implement event-driven systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Scale and operationalise systems long-term after they go live.
• Collaborate in bi-weekly knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to open-source projects.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a software or backend engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Practical interest or experience in GenAI systems, RAG, or AI orchestration.
• Proven ability to take ownership and communicate strongly in a professional environment.
