What you will do

• Lead development of GaN process modules (etch, deposition, metallization, passivation) to enhance device performance.
• Collaborate with fab engineers to ensure manufacturability, stability, and scalability of new technologies.
• Work with design and device engineers to translate concepts into process flows.
• Explore new materials, process chemistries, and integration schemes for improved performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Conduct DOE experiments, analyze data, and identify optimal process conditions.

Requirements

• Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Solid-State Physics with hands-on experience in semiconductor process and characterization, especially GaN technology.
• Strong background in GaN or III-V semiconductor process technology.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication processes in cleanroom.
• Strong skills in data analysis and statistical tools.
• Team player with strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

• Previous experience in semiconductor industry.
• German language skills.
