Senior Technology Development Engineer (GaN) (semiconductor process technology): Developing and scaling GaN process modules for power discrete devices with an accent on etching, deposition, metallization, passivation, and process characterization. Focus on designing DOE experiments, analyzing statistical results, and translating device concepts into stable, manufacturable process flows.

What you will do
- Lead the development of GaN process modules, including etching, deposition, metallization, and passivation.
- Collaborate with fab engineers to improve the manufacturability, stability, and scalability of new technologies.
- Work with design and device engineers to translate concepts into semiconductor process flows.
- Explore new materials, process chemistry, and integration schemes to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Conduct design of experiments, analyze results, and identify optimal process conditions.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree, or equivalent experience, in Electrical Engineering or Solid-State Physics.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor processes and characterization, especially GaN technology or III-V semiconductors.
- Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes in a cleanroom.
- Strong data analysis and statistical skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement skills.
- Good spoken and written English is required.

- Previous experience in the semiconductor industry.
- German language skills.
