TL;DR

Prototype Parts Analyst (Automotive): Supporting pre-production builds by managing external supplier delivery promises with an accent on logistics data and supplier relationship management. Focus on ensuring NRP parts are delivered on time and coordinating between vehicle programme, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Location: Onsite in Whitley, Coventry. Must have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU

What you will do

• Support pre-production builds by obtaining and maintaining delivery promises from external suppliers.
• Ensure delivery promises meet build requirements and escalate issues where necessary.
• Manage parts ownership from dispatch to receipt at company storage locations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of Non Released Parts (NRP).
• Act as a key interface between Vehicle Programme, Vehicle Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing supplier portfolios supporting production schedules.
• Experience managing prototype suppliers during pre-production build phases.
• Proficiency in transport planning and logistics data interpretation.
• Strong IT skills, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience working toward KPIs.
• Valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and ability to travel within the EU

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GPIRS, CMMS, and SAP.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Tableau, and Macros.
• Knowledge of latest technology and processes to drive best-in-class logistics solutions.
