What you will do
- Plan and execute SEO initiatives to increase organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and search intent analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Perform technical SEO audits covering site structure, indexing, crawlability, and Core Web Vitals.
- Collaborate with content teams to create and optimize SEO-driven content that converts.
- Monitor SEO KPIs and build performance dashboards using Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Analyze competitors and adapt strategies based on search trends and algorithm updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar SEO-focused role.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Experience working with CMS platforms and collaborating with developers.
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in Malaysia
Nice to have
- Experience in high-growth startups or digital-first companies.
- Exposure to international or multi-market SEO.
- Knowledge of basic HTML, schema markup, or JavaScript SEO.
- Experience with BI dashboards such as Looker Studio or Tableau.
