Location: Hybrid (San Francisco Bay Area). Candidates in the Western US are considered if living within 30 miles of a major airport with daily flights to San Francisco.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end customer deployments, including daily operations, training, and configuration.
• Configure enterprise system integrations, operational data mappings, and customer-specific workflows.
• Debug production issues across pipelines and provide precise root-cause reports for engineering.
• Execute pilot deployments for new customers and scope implementation requirements.
• Translate field reality into structured, actionable product feedback for the core engineering team.
• Build customer-specific scripts, integration adapters, and internal tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Fluency in Python (Django or FastAPI preferred).
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and query plan analysis.
• Proven track record of customer-facing engineering, integrations, or incident response.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and shipping enterprise system integrations (ERP, CRM, CMMS).
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or Western US.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Forward Deployed, Implementation, or Solutions Engineer in B2B SaaS companies.
• Direct experience with ERP or CMMS integrations.
• Background in industrial operations (heavy assets, telemetry, asset management).
• Academic background in a physical-engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, industrial).
