What you will do

• Design and deploy production automations and UIs to replace manual operational steps and reduce operation time.
• Partner with frontend engineers to productize internal ops tooling for global team scalability.
• Instrument and report performance metrics (MTTC, queue sizes) to iterate on automation impact.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Security to build auditable systems with role-based access and clear runbooks.
• Manage the full system lifecycle using CI/CD tools like ArgoCD and Terraform, following a "you build it, you run it" philosophy.
• Build systems with a primary focus on auditability, traceability, and data lineage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping large-scale production systems.
• Deep expertise in Golang, specifically concurrency models (goroutines, channels) and memory management.
• Proven track record of building end-to-end user-facing features with TypeScript and React.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Ability to analyze human workflows and translate them into structured software systems.
• Must be based in North America.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of financial markets, including exchange, broker-dealers, and clearing.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API design patterns (REST, gRPC).
• Experience with capacity planning and benchmarking.
