TL;DR

Location: Remote (US). Must have a current unrestricted state license to practice medicine in the US.

Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead the vision and evolution of clinical and digital care management offerings as a subject matter expert.
  • Develop new approaches to clinical delivery using market data and patient analytics.
  • Create comprehensive research packages and cultivate external partnerships and vendor relationships.
  • Support growth teams by participating in prospective client meetings and sales opportunities.
  • Guide rule development and clinical decision processes for implemented programs.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of launched clinical programs within the specialty area.

Requirements

  • Completed US-based residency program (General medical or surgical preferred).
  • Board certification as an MD or DO with a current unrestricted US state license.
  • 5+ years of clinical practice in Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, Pain Medicine, or PM&R.
  • 5+ years of experience in managed care, clinical strategy at a health plan, or healthtech.
  • Proven success in designing innovative clinical programs that drive value for payers.
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with high-level partners and clients.

Nice to have

  • MBA or advanced degree in a healthcare-related discipline.
