What you will do

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and instructions to determine fabrication methods
• Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, arc, oxyacetylene) for welding, brazing, and cutting
• Fit, position, and secure components for accurate assembly
• Perform saw operations, painting, and precision measurements with calipers and micrometers
• Test completed units for defects and conformance to specs
• Maintain documentation, report issues, and participate in team meetings

Requirements

• 1+ years of MIG welding experience
• Hands-on shop experience with fabrication tools and procedures
• Ability to work from blueprints or job orders with minimal supervision
• Mathematical knowledge for dimensions and tolerances
• Teamwork and multitasking skills
• Work in accordance with safety procedures
