What you will do

• Develop backend services for multiplayer games and integrate them with the game client.
• Provide general support for live features and releases.
• Estimate and prioritize backlogs containing features, bugs, and technical debt.
• Partner with designers to iterate on features and optimize the player experience.
• Maintain and expand existing codebases to support partner studios.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience writing high-performance applications in C#.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Familiarity with Redis or other non-relational databases.
• Ability to handle communication between microservices and integrate with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in setting up and deploying Docker services for containerization.
• Must be willing to work in person from the Saratoga Springs, NY office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK.
• Experience with C++ in a game development context.
• Experience with ReactJS or similar frontend libraries.
• Experience using Perforce for version control.
