What you will do
- Architect and deliver end-to-end syss, including internal developer tooling and platform services.
- Improve and extend core platforms and developer experience tooling to streamline the build, test, and deploy cycles.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on new workflows and automation to enhance operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers and Designers to scope high-impact infrastructure solutions.
- Lead the team through code reviews, mentorship, and championing engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Experience as a Senior or Staff Engineer in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
- Proven ability to design and build complex syss and developer tooling at scale.
- Deep expertise in Python, Node.js, and AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
- Proficiency in developing responsive and performant front-ends using React.
- Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and make technical decisions with incomplete information.
- Must be based in the United Kingdom.
Nice to have
- Experience in the energy sector or other highly regulated industries.
- Background in data engineering with tools like ClickHouse, dbt, or Omni.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing or agentic/AI-driven syss.
