What you will do

• Execute, maintain, and improve manual test cases in Azure DevOps, including updating steps, logging defects, and retesting fixes.
• Support testing teams in preparing, configuring, and maintaining test equipment for component, integration, and E2E testing.
• Reproduce field defects using test bench setups and contribute to root-cause analysis with senior team members.
• Capture, analyze IoT device logs, and investigate anomalies to ensure device functionality and stability.
• Use packet analyzers like tcpdump or Wireshark to capture and analyze edge network traffic under supervision.
• Maintain technical documentation, dashboards, and inventories for test resources.

Requirements

• Advanced bachelor's or master’s student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Conceptual understanding of software development and testing principles.
• Hands-on experience with embedded devices (e.g., Raspberry Pi), terminal, and Linux beneficial.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, C++, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience writing queries for device and cloud data.
• Familiarity with API testing, project management tools (ADO/Jira), networking fundamentals, Git, and CI/CD pipelines beneficial.
