TL;DR

Principal Product Designer (Design Systems): Leading the evolution and implementation of a scalable design system across the brand platform with an accent on strategic architecture, governance, and adoption. Focus on creating cohesive user experiences for enterprise customers, reducing development time, and ensuring accessibility compliance.

Location: Must be based in Switzerland (Remote or Hybrid with access to the St. Gallen office)

What you will do

  • Drive strategic product opportunities and set design direction for design system initiatives independently.
  • Establish foundational design patterns and scalable component libraries.
  • Lead organization-wide design system adoption and implement success measurement.
  • Create design solutions that reduce development time and improve overall product consistency.
  • Ensure accessibility and security compliance across all platform components.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of design experience working with SaaS or complex digital products.
  • Proven experience leading the creation of several large-scale design systems.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints through strategic thinking.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must be located in Switzerland.

  • Experience using AI and modern tools to optimize the usage and distribution of design systems.
