Focus on translating complex technical constraints into intuitive interactions and evolving the global design system for hardware.

Location: Hybrid Lausanne, Switzerland (2–3 days/week in the office)

What you will do

• Design end-to-end product experiences across hardware interactions, considering firmware and software constraints.
• Own and design complex keyboard layouts across multiple products, operating systems, and regions.
• Define and document platform-level UX guidelines for topics like Bluetooth connectivity and device behaviors.
• Contribute to the evolution of the hirify.global Design System to standardize and scale solutions across platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware, engineering, and localization teams to ensure design and implementation alignment.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing complex consumer hardware products with a supporting portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and experience with Figma.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to translate complex product requirements into reusable design guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills for navigating ambiguity and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work from Lausanne, Switzerland (Hybrid model)
