Java Software Engineer (Travel)

What you will do

• Optimize search and booking logic to handle the demands of global corporate clients.
• Build and maintain high-performance integrations with third-party travel APIs (airlines, hotels, rental cars).
• Take full ownership of designs from initial concept to deployment, ensuring high code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural steering to keep the K4B project modular and reusable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring, Spring Boot).
• Working knowledge of relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement engineering initiatives with minimal guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience in the travel domain, including familiarity with GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) and NDC standards.
• Experience with B2B systems, identity/HR integrations (SCIM, SAML/OAuth, SSO), and platforms like Okta or Workday.
