Information Review & Release Analyst

TL;DR

Information Review & Release Analyst (Intelligence): Researching and reviewing classified documents for declassification with an accent on applying EO 13526, FOIA, and Privacy Act criteria. Focus on making redactions, providing rationales with exemption codes, ensuring consistency with prior decisions, and coordinating OGA equities.

Onsite at customer sites in Sterling, VA and Ft. Meade, MD. Must possess active TS/SCI clearance with Poly on day one.

What you will do

• Thoroughly research documents' substance and context using customer systems and tools.
• Conduct first-level review of classified information and apply appropriate redactions electronically or manually.
• Provide rationales for redactions using exemption codes and recommend document release.
• Record decisions, research prior releases for consistency, and identify OGA equities for referral.
• Apply critical thinking to evaluate cases per EO 13526, FOIA, and Privacy Act.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly required on day one.
• Significant knowledge of client policies on information security, classification, IC, and DoD regulations.
• Prior client experience required; other relevant IC experience (e.g., SIGINT) considered case-by-case.
• Experience in research, analysis, data management using professional methods.
• Prior declassification review experience strongly preferred; analytic experience (e.g., intelligence analyst) with FOIA/PA/EOMDR/EO familiarity also considered.
