What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade LLM applications, including agents, context engineering, and text-to-SQL.
• Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks and automated feedback loops to measure system accuracy and capture user outcomes.
• Develop high-performance Python services and APIs to integrate advanced AI capabilities into the web ecosystem.
• Architect and maintain underlying data foundations using Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Act as a technical translator for non-technical partners to align AI roadmaps with business operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in AI engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
• Proven expertise in architecting LLM-native applications and agentic design patterns.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for high-performance AI logic and large-scale cloud data environments.
• Command of backend API design and understanding of the full web development lifecycle.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline (advanced degree highly preferred).
• Must be based in or be able to work from the Lisbon, Portugal office.

Nice to have

• Functional knowledge of frontend technologies, particularly React.
• Experience using AI-native development workflows such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.
