Cybersecurity Analyst

TL;DR

Cybersecurity Analyst: Assist in review and implementation of cybersecurity initiatives across a large complex environment with an accent on defensive security operations and threat response. Focus on analyzing cyber threats, monitoring security controls, conducting incident response remediation, and providing threat recommendations to stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid role working in the local hirify.global office (Dallas TX, Downers Grove IL, Jacksonville FL, Chicago IL).

Salary: $61,900 to $102,900

What you will do

• Analyze and respond to cyber threats.
• Monitor technical security controls and detection technologies.
• Maintain partnerships with stakeholders and assist with end-to-end Incident Response remediation.
• Leverage resources to research threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker intelligence.
• Provide cybersecurity threat recommendations to stakeholders and decision makers.
• Assess internal and external networks to define and monitor attack surface.

Requirements

• Certifications such as CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, etc.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• Knowledge of networking (ports and protocols), operating systems, indicators of compromise, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Basic knowledge of identity and access methods and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or Security field preferred.
