Motion Graphics Designer

TL;DR

Motion Graphics Designer: Create strong and boundary-pushing motion design across performance-driven and brand storytelling content in multiple digital platforms including social media, OTT, and marketplaces with an accent on video editing, animation, typography, and creative storytelling. Focus on owning the full motion design process from brainstorming and storyboarding to final asset delivery, presenting concepts to clients, and leading team critiques and workshops.

What you will do

• Create motion design for social platforms (TikTok, Facebook/Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest), addressable (OTT, OLV, OLA, DCO), and marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart).
• Own the full process: brainstorming, storyboarding, video/audio editorial, animation, rendering, and delivery for diverse clients.
• Ensure high-quality work adhering to brand guidelines while innovating and meeting performance metrics.
• Present design concepts to clients with clear rationale and engage in creative brainstorming.
• Lead design critiques, workshops, and champion processes/tools to elevate team standards.
• Stay current with trends in motion design, animation, typography, and digital marketing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of motion design experience with strong portfolio in video editing, animation, typography, design, audio, and storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) and Figma.
• Experience designing/animating for social media, digital campaigns, and platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, OTT.
• Knowledge of channel-specific best practices (ad specs, requirements, limitations).
• Excellent communication for presenting to teams/clients; manage multiple projects under deadlines.
• Comfortable in remote/hybrid environment, collaborating cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Experience in A+ content design, 3D animation, brand store design, or Amazon creative execution.
