What you will do

• Lead operational aspects of 1-2 indications within one compound, including timelines, budget, data delivery, reporting, and vendor management.
• Develop operational strategies for clinical studies in collaboration with project teams and cross-functional departments.
• Ensure quality mindset, monitor study conduct, manage vendors, and maintain inspection readiness with QA.
• Contribute to policies, procedures, compliance with regulations, GCP, and TMF standards.
• Provide leadership to staff, including recruitment, training, mentoring, performance evaluations.
• Track metrics, report to executives, manage compound budget, forecasting, and scenario planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 12+ years progressive experience in Clinical Operations; 7+ years managing direct reports
• Experience in rare disease/orphan indications preferred; experience in conducting Gene Therapy studies required
• Knowledge of clinical operations, project management, drug development, regulations (ICH/GCP).
• Experience managing staff, overseeing CROs and vendors, building relationships.
• Ability to negotiate, influence, solve complex problems.
