What you will do

• Create composed shots that clearly depict story beats through staging, blocking, and camera motion.
• Collaborate with directors, supervisors, and leads to incorporate feedback into cohesive visuals.
• Pitch creative ideas and solutions verbally to stakeholders.
• Communicate with production staff and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain technical cleanliness in all deliverables and proactively identify technical concerns.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in film, VFX, animation, or game production as a previz or rough layout artist.
• Professional proficiency in Maya, including animation blocking, modeling, and rigging.
• Strong cinematic knowledge of cameras, lenses, composition, and film language.
• Ability to previsualize shots from scratch without prior storyboards.
• Must be based in the United States to be eligible for the stated pay ranges and benefits.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Blizzard's themes and franchise styles.
• Proficiency with camera capture systems and data processing.
• Skills in practical photography (exposure and composition).
• Experience with Python or MEL scripting in Maya.
