What you will do

• Own performance observability for production and lower environments, identifying and acting on concerning trends.
• Analyze holistic application performance using benchmarking and monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks.
• Lead root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to ensure systems meet performance requirements.
• Develop realistic datasets and workloads that accurately represent the Production environment.
• Drive UI performance optimization and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Mentor junior team members and establish best practices for performance engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in performance and scalability engineering for cloud-hosted applications.
• Strong proficiency with performance tools like K6, JMeter and monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
• Strong scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Expertise in Cloud & Container Ecosystems, specifically Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Must have valid US work authorization; no immigration sponsorship provided now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Chaos Engineering tools like Gremlin.
• Deep expertise in database performance tuning and optimizing complex SQL queries.
