What you will do

• Design and evolve large-scale distributed backend systems that power data and AI products.
• Own services end-to-end, from architecture and design to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Drive performance, scalability, and reliability using data and metrics to guide decisions.
• Build infrastructure and data pipelines supporting machine learning, analytics, and real-time use cases.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams to turn complex data into product features.
• Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, design discussions, and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience in high-scale B2B SaaS or data-driven products.
• Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, Go, Node.js, or .NET.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade distributed systems.
• Solid engineering fundamentals in system design, data structures, APIs, testing, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with data-intensive systems and complex data pipelines.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with MongoDB and Google Cloud technologies (BigQuery, Bigtable).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Exposure to AI/ML-adjacent systems, such as feature stores, model serving, or LLM APIs.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks for full-stack collaboration.
