TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer (Fintech): Maintaining high availability and performance for a global fintech platform with an accent on observability, system troubleshooting, and infrastructure reliability. Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Limassol, Cyprus

Salary: from €4,500/month gross

What you will do

  • Analyze system metrics and logs to perform tuning and fault-finding across infrastructure layers.
  • Improve observability and reliability by correlating data across different system components.
  • Facilitate firefighting processes and lead root cause analysis investigations.
  • Contribute to documentation, including handbooks and run-books.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline reliability tasks.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and conducting technical workshops.

Requirements

  • Advanced Linux administration experience
  • Basic programming proficiency in Golang, Python, C++, or Java
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Gitlab CI/CD or Terraform
  • Familiarity with observability tools like Jaeger, Sentry, DataDog, NewRelic, Grafana, and Prometheus
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Kafka
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS EKS or Alicloud ACS
  • Background in working with globally distributed systems
