Sound Designer Intern (Game Audio)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid with a minimum of 3 onsite days

hirify.global is a Stockholm- and Gothenburg-based creative game studio within Electronic Arts, developing experiences for the Battlefield universe.

What you will do

• Work under a Lead Sound Designer within a defined area of a game project.
• Create sound content aligned with existing designs and audio direction.
• Implement audio content in the game using the Frostbite game engine.
• Refine assets and supporting logic through playtesting and feedback sessions.
• Mix audio assets and provide and respond to feedback on the overall game mix.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university or education provider in Sweden with a planned internship period.
• Eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden without visa or relocation support.
• Available for a full-time six-month internship beginning in late January 2027.
• Experience designing sounds for interactive or linear media.
• Proficiency with modern studio hardware, sound editing and design techniques, and tools such as Reaper, Pro Tools, Sound Forge, Waves, and iZotope RX.
• Portfolio, CV, and cover letter submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of audio middleware such as Wwise or FMOD.
• Experience with Unreal or Unity.
• Knowledge of graphical audio programming tools such as Reaktor, Max/MSP, or Pure Data.
