What you will do

• Build highly scalable distributed real-time microservices primarily in Go
• Work with large datasets across databases like Aerospike, Elasticsearch, Redis, ScyllaDB, Redshift, TiDB, MariaDB
• Implement data lakehouse technologies including Apache Iceberg, Apache Trino, StarRocks, and Clickhouse
• Utilize messaging queues such as Kafka, SQS, and Kinesis
• Write performance-efficient and memory-optimized code
• Collaborate with Product and Web teams to ensure accurate and actionable data for stakeholders and advertisers

Requirements

• Located anywhere in Canada or the United States
• 2+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer
• Strong problem-solving skills in data structures, algorithms, and optimization
• Experience with relational databases and/or key-value stores
• Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems
