What you will do

• Collaborate with design and product teams to implement features that enhance the fan experience.
• Mentor and grow web engineers across the organization to improve technical excellence.
• Develop and increase the maturity of the frontend technology strategy and stack.
• Architect and optimize for performance and maintainability across a wide array of distributed systems.
• Work full-stack, utilizing Python when necessary to deliver end-to-end product initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering with a track record of leading product initiatives.
• Exceptional grasp of TypeScript and JavaScript, including modern specs and features.
• Proficiency in at least one modern framework (React and Next.js are used internally).
• Strong instincts for UI, product accessibility, and inclusive user experiences.
• Experience troubleshooting caching inefficiencies and distributed systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (indicated by 401k and US-specific benefits).

Nice to have

• Experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
