What you will do

• Design and implement secure enterprise security architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Engineer and manage security controls aligned with NIST, FISMA, and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
• Configure and support critical security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, DLP, MFA, and firewalls.
• Perform enterprise systems hardening, vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration management.
• Support 24x7x365 SOC activities, including incident response, threat modeling, and root cause analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and SOC personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, architecture, or SOC environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud security.
• Deep knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks, federal security standards, and RMF/ATO processes.
• Expertise in incident response methodologies and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills for creating executive briefings and documentation.

Nice to have

• Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, GCED, or GSE.
• Certifications: CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CySA+.
• Cloud-specific certifications: AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
• Cisco Certified CyberOps Professional.
