What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end alumni volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, screening, matching, placement, and recognition.
• Coordinate alumni volunteer programs and activities that support students, faculty, and academic units.
• Research and identify suitable alumni volunteers based on role requirements, availability, and engagement history.
• Maintain alumni and volunteer interaction records in the database, ensuring compliance with FIPPA guidelines and institutional standards.
• Develop content for volunteer recruitment, recognition, and promotional materials.
• Manage program and event budgets, expenses, and implementation protocols.

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be based in Vancouver, Canada to support campus operations and represent the team at events.
• Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

• Experience in alumni engagement, volunteer management, or program coordination.
• Proficiency with CRM/database systems (Blackbaud/LINKS preferred) and survey tools like Qualtrics.
• Experience with email communication platforms such as Campaigner or Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with event planning and execution.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
