EMEA GL Accountant (Finance)

What you will do

• Prepare and post monthly GL entries for EMEA entities in accordance with Local and US GAAP.
• Manage monthly consolidation, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and reporting schedules.
• Handle Blackline reporting tasks, reconciliations, and process standardization.
• Coordinate audit preparations and ensure strict adherence to SOX procedures.
• Manage Fixed Assets and monitor Intercompany processes for the region.
• Collaborate with US and EMEA stakeholders to streamline reporting and provide ad-hoc analysis.

Requirements

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with strong financial process knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).
• Technical competence in Local and US GAAP and understanding of SOX compliance.
• Experience with ERP and BI systems (JD Edwards, Hyperion, or Blackline preferred).
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Must be based in Paris, France for a hybrid work arrangement.
