What you will do

• Collaborate in an agile cross-functional team aligned with business and customer acquisition goals
• Build, own, and monitor backend services using Python, AWS Lambda, Kafka, FastAPI in microservices and event-driven architecture
• Deliver new features and services end-to-end, including greenfield development
• Support business-critical systems prioritizing reliability, quality, and speed
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and improvements across team-owned services

Requirements

• Mid/senior level backend engineering experience, ideally with Python and FastAPI
• Experience with AWS, serverless architecture, microservices, and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar messaging technologies
• Strong programming fundamentals, clean code, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Comfortable owning services in production, including monitoring, debugging, and reliability improvements
• Open to occasional React or Ruby while staying backend-focused; able to build domain knowledge and communicate with stakeholders
