What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ application code for the Edge130 platform.
• Implement and optimize multithreaded, real-time components for flight-critical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (controls, perception, avionics) for platform integration.
• Support sustainment engineering including bug fixes, refactoring, and reliability improvements.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build/test infrastructure, and coding standards.
• Mentor junior engineers in C++ best practices and performance profiling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Robotics.
• Expert proficiency in C++ (C++17/20) including memory management and concurrency.
• 5+ years of professional experience in robotics, aerospace, or high-reliability embedded platforms.
• Experience with cross-compilers, embedded ARM platforms, and build systems (CMake, Bazel).
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required for ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Ability to physically navigate indoor/outdoor facilities and lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS/ROS2 frameworks.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson platforms and CUDA/GPU programming.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and distributed systems in real-time robotics.
• Experience with C++ package management tools like Conan.
