What you will do

  • Lead advanced structural and multiphysics simulations including static, dynamic, fatigue, thermal, and nonlinear analyses.
  • Define FEA best practices, modeling standards, and validation methodologies for design optimization and lightweighting.
  • Develop predictive models for durability, vibration, and failure analysis, correlating with test data.
  • Establish simulation strategy aligned with product roadmap, evaluate new tools, and support digital twin development.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, materials, and testing teams for simulation-informed decisions.
  • Mentor simulation engineers, provide training, and act as SME for structural integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
  • 15+ years in FEA and structural simulation in industrial or consulting environments.
  • Deep expertise in nonlinear analysis, contact modeling, material/geometrical nonlinearity, dynamic analysis, and fatigue.
  • Proficiency with FEA tools like ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, HyperMesh.
  • Strong understanding of material behavior (metals, composites, elastomers) and simulation-test correlation.
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Proven leadership in complex simulation projects.

Nice to have

  • Experience in power systems, rotating machinery, or energy products.
  • Knowledge of vibration, shock, durability analysis.
  • Scripting/automation with Python, APDL.
  • Familiarity with international standards and global teams.
